Welcome to Computer Class!

 

My name is Mrs. Fousek! I teach K-8 computers at Wagner Community School! On this site you will find my classes and the links we use to become keyboarding and computer wizards!

Here is what we will be doing:

​

Kindergarten: Your students will learn mouse and touch pad skills by playing games that require click and dragging! They will also learn about computer parts and different technologies. They will start learning where letters are located on their keyboard, and will be able to type their homerow keys before the school year ends!

​

1st Grade: Your students will review computer parts and different technologies, and they will begin learning key/letter position on the keyboard. They will spend a good part of the year working on keyboarding, but we will have some fun with Google Slides, Google Drawing, and even some coding skills!

​

2nd-4th Grade: These classes have been buffing up their keyboarding skills. They will also be learning some simple skills in google docs and slides! This group of students will be introduced to Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship, as these students already have access to the Internet daily by phone, tablet, computer, and game systems! These students will also get to enjoy some coding!

​

6th & 8th Grade: These class will see some revamping from previous years. Although, keyboarding will be a large part, they will also be introduced to coding, html, digital citizenship, Internet safety and cyber-bullying, Internet searching, google docs, google slides, and google sheets! I hope to work with their classroom teachers to complete some neat projects!
